SCGA AMATEUR NET QUALIFYING AND CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION
86th SCGA AMATEUR NET CHAMPIONSHIP:
Omni La Costa Resort & Spa (Legends Course), Carlsbad
36 holes, net stroke play.
Monday and Tuesday, April 20 - 21, 2020
FORMAT: All players will participate in an 18-hole, net stroke-play qualifying round. A total of 156 players will advance to the championship. The qualifying and championship fields will be divided into four flights based on handicap index. Contestants in all flights during qualifying and the championship will use their playing handicap; 95% of their course handicap (new in 2020).
Flight handicap dispersal for qualifying and the championship will be determined after the entry closing date. The SCGA Championship & Golf Operations Committee reserves the right to adjust a player’s course handicap at any time prior to or during the competition.

Monday, March 16: El Camino CC, Oceanside
Monday, March 16: Brookside GC (Course #1), Pasadena
Saturday, March 21: Santa Anita GC, Arcadia
Monday, March 23: Los Serranos G & CC (South), Chino Hills
Thursday, March 26: Navy GC (Destroyer), Cypress
Monday, March 30: Steele Canyon GC (Ranch/Vineyard), Jamul
Monday, April 6: Temecula Creek Inn (Creek/Oaks), Temecula
NOTE: Players may only attempt to qualify once.
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to amateurs who are members of a current SCGA member club with an established handicap index at the time of registration. Entrants must be at least 18 years old by April 20, 2020. All entrants must be a member of a club that has a handicap chairperson who has successfully completed the SCGA’s certified Handicap Chair program within the last four years.

PLAYER INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played will be emailed and posted on scga.org/amnet after entries close.
ENTRY FEE: $110
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming there is still space available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and will only be accepted over the phone.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $10 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
